Platn Privacy Policy

This policy is for Platn, a local iOS pocket typewriter made by Foresty LLC ("we", "us").

Short version: Platn has no accounts. Drafts and titles stay on your device. We do not collect, track, sync, or sell your data.

No accounts

Platn does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use the app.

What stays on your device

Drafts and titles are stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync. Deleting the app removes that data from the device.

What we do not do

No analytics or usage telemetry
No tracking or advertising SDKs
No cloud backup or sync operated by us
No sale or sharing of personal data — we do not collect any

Optional Support tip

Platn may offer an optional Support tip through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card number or other payment details. The tip unlocks nothing.

On-device Fix

If you use Fix, Platn uses Apple Foundation Models on your device when they are available. That text does not leave your device for this feature.
