Privacy Policy

Foresty ("we", "us") builds small, thoughtful apps. This policy describes how our apps and website handle information. It applies to the Foresty website at foresty.dev and to our apps, including Line and Stone and Platn.

Short version: Our apps do not collect or transmit personal information to Foresty. They run on your device. Line and Stone may use Game Center. Line and Stone and Platn may each offer an optional Support tip through Apple. Game Center and tips are handled by Apple — we don't receive that data.

Information we collect

We do not operate servers that receive personal information from our apps. Line and Stone and Platn do not:

Ask you to create an account, sign in with email, or provide a password
Collect analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry
Include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs
Cloud-sync your data, or send drafts, gameplay, or device identifiers to Foresty

Line and Stone and Platn may each offer an optional Support tip through Apple In-App Purchase; see below.

Data stored on your device

Line and Stone stores a few preferences locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults). This includes your chosen player name, sound and haptics preferences, preferred AI difficulty, and similar settings. This data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Platn stores drafts and titles locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync. Deleting the app removes that data from the device.

Game Center

Line and Stone can optionally use Apple's Game Center. If Game Center is enabled on your device, the app may read your Game Center display name so it can greet you by name in the game. Game Center authentication and data is managed entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, store, or share Game Center information.

Optional Support tip

Line and Stone and Platn may each offer an optional Support tip through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card number or other payment details. The tip unlocks nothing. There is no subscription.

Platn: on-device Fix

If you use Fix in Platn, the app uses Apple Foundation Models on your device when they are available. That text does not leave your device for this feature.

The foresty.dev website

The Foresty website is a simple static site hosted on Vercel. Vercel may record standard request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for the purpose of operating the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not run analytics or advertising on the site.

Children's privacy

Our apps are suitable for general audiences. Because our apps do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you have questions about children's use of our apps, please contact us.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, because we do not collect any.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. Any data stored locally by the app can be removed by deleting the app from your device. Game Center data is controlled through your Apple ID and iOS settings.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above. If the changes are significant, we'll note them on this page.
